Red Cross Class Descriptions

Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED
This basic course is for the general public and those requiring certification to treat victums in an emergency. It covers CPR, AED operation, burns, cuts, sudden illnesses, heat/cold emergencies and more.

Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED
This CPR/AED course is for the general public, such as teachers, coaches, and those requiring certification for their workplace. This course is also for families and parents. This class does NOT include First Aid.

Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
First-time AND renewal students can take our normal full class. This healthcare CPR/AED BLS course is for healthcare professionals like nurses, nursing students, doctors, technicians, and EMTs. This class does NOT include First Aid.

Full Classes - These are full classes with no prerequisites. The instructor covers all class lessons.

Review Classes
 - Students receive a full certification. This is for students who have a card or new students who complete the online learning module.

Review Classes - shorter classes for students who have been certified before. Challenge Classes - for students who wish to “test out” of the class. They just pass the full skills demonstration and a class exam (BLS, or if applicable).

Blended Classes – Students receive a full certification. For students who have completed the online learning module (must show instructor). The instructor covers a limited amount of lessons and checks the skills of students.
